The NIU Roller Hockey Team has been around since 2003. We are a part of the Midwest Collegiate
Roller Hockey League (MCRHL), which is a part of the larger National Collegiate Roller Hockey Association (NCRHA). The
organization was started up by a couple of students who wanted to play competative roller hockey at the collegiate level.
Since then we have tried to build a solid program with committed and dedicated hockey players.
Each year NIU strives to be the #1 DII team in the MCRHL. We compete in tournaments around
the Midwest in such places as Detriot,Cincinnati and Illinois.
